John has won the 6-monthly prize for his hard work, dedication and commitment to safe driving. Hes been with The Group for 10 years completing civils work for various contracts. He is one of our machine drivers who will not only drive the van to wherever is required to work but tow a mini digger on the vehicle. John is one of our highest mileage drivers travelling all over the UK.His driving is always of the highest standard and I can only thank him for his continued support towards safe driving, I wish him and his family a happy Christmas and prosperous new yearCasper Sibanda / Regional PIA Build Manager Said:Well done to John, especially considering the mileage and type of job he does, it is truly impressive. It requires a high level of awareness and empathy for other drivers which reflects on his long-lasting Elite Driver status.John Said:I joined Kelly Group 10 years ago and had the pleasure of working on most major contracts as a machine driver before joining our Virgin Media contract. My current responsibility is to dig micro trenches for ducts and due to the growing workflow, it now involves a lot of driving. What makes the job really enjoyable is the fact that I come across a different challenge each week and always learn something new from it. Last year I reached 85000 miles over 12 months and Im really proud to have driven it all in a safe manner. Its nice to be recognised as an Elite Driver because it shows that the company is looking after their workforce while encouraging road safety. My top tip for fellow drivers is to rember that they are the ones driving the vehicle and there are other people on the road, you have to keep an eye out for everyones safety.32 .The Networker Winter 2022'
