b'NEW TO FIELD SUPPORTNational New Engineers Support TeamWe are here to help Service Delivery and FTTP New to feild engineers during the early days of your Kelly Group JourneyAlex Greens - (Team Manager) 07814 088916 Alexander.Greens@kelly.co.uk I started my Kelly career in February 2020 as a copper engineer, in the early days of covid in Ednburgh. I progressed as New to Field support coach in May 2023 which kick started my career progression. In January 2024 I took the opportunity to manage the 7 members of the NTF support team who assess and support engineers. My team operates on a national level as part of the Openreach contract. We stretch from the Scottish Highlands all the way down to Plymouth. My local Kelly office is in Glasgow. The support team has many functions, but our primary one is assessing all new-to-field engineers after the buddy period. We meet them on the 1st job of their career and ensure they can work safely on the network. We assess the capability from all the classroom and buddy stages which is the result of the entire learning journey. We also act as a support tool for any new or experienced engineers who have gaps in their learning which we work to fill. I enjoy seeing my team develop and grow within Kelly Group! With positive mindsets, we can achieve and accomplish any challenge thrown in our way. If we can instill a positive attitude from the grass routes then we have a better chance of our new future engineers achieving success. The core values that we have play a vital role in growing the business and brand. Safety & Teamwork play a massive role as does the rest. If we can instil safe working practices and work as a team, then the other key values will naturally fall into place. As the last stage of the new-to-field learning journey, we ensure we embed their behaviours for the future. Its frustrating when we come across engineers who dont follow the values, but we will always work hard to implement them.Joe Frisby - (London & South East) 07814 470466 Joe.Frisby@kelly.co.ukI joined Kelly Group in March 2022 and started as a copper engineers based in South East London. In November 2023 I progressed as New to Field support coach which kicked started my career progression. I am currently based in the Southeast and London, but my role involves travelling nationally. What I enjoy most about my role is seeing the NTF engineers develop and watching their skills, knowledge and confidence build during their NTF journey. The most important part of the job is ensuring we have excellent-quality engineers working on the network. This is key to maintaining a great working relationship with the client and Kelly Group as a whole.Dennis Laudat - (London & South East) 07814 034863 Dennis.Laudat2@kelly.co.uk The year 2011 marked the beginning of my career in Kellys as a copper engineer, based in London I then joined the HUB team at Kelly House in Wembley in 2017 for four years then as New to Field support coach visiting and supporting NTF engineers. I operate on national level as part of the Openreach contract with my local Kelly office being Brimsdown. The thing I most enjoy about my job role was helping the NTF along their journey, especially at the start of their Kellys journey and continued support throughout. If there is one piece of advice I would give to new engineers, it would be to remain positive and keep the passion for the job alive. Listen and follow all safety advice and always contact the NTF support team regardless of whether you are new or experienced. We are always here and ready to support you.Keith Dunlop - (Wales & Midlands) 07484 034863 Keith.Dunlop@kelly.co.ukI started my Kelly career in July 2019 as a copper engineer based in the Midlands. Later in 2019, I progressed as a New to Field Support Manager visiting and supporting NTF engineers. Neville Edmead and myself started the NTF support Team. I operate on a national level as part of the Openreach contract. My local Kelly office is in Nuneaton. I enjoy imparting the vast knowledge I have developed over 26 years within telecoms when it was BT/ BT global services. The most rewarding part of my job is seeing brand new engineers with no telecoms background thrive and perform to a high standard. I like seeing names a few months down the line still with Kellys and completing their NTF journey.36 .The Networker Autumn 2024'
