Since then, hes completed training on all major networks as part of our apprenticeship scheme. Upon graduation, Steve was offered a permanent position working on the CityFibre contract as a Fibre Engineer.Steve said:I drive an average of 300 miles a week. I feel great about being recognised; it also makes me proud. After sharing the good news with my colleagues, a lot were asking, how I won and why? This prompted a conversation about things we can all do to improve our driving.I think the more people that know about the Elite Drivers Club scheme and the benefits of becoming an Elite Driver, it will create a friendly competition amongst employees. When Im driving, Im always very aware of the size of my vehicle. If I have to walk a short distance knowing my van is safely parked up, Im more than happy to do so rather than causing issues for other vehicles on the road. Andrew DeanDriving Risk Manager Said:I was delighted to have the opportunity to present Steve with his cheque when he won our Elite Drivers Club monthly prize draw in March. It was a pleasure to meet Steve and put a smile on his face.
