Works Scheduler

The Kelly Group is a principal contractor supporting and providing engineering resource for over 35 years.

We are looking to recruit an experienced Works Scheduler. The Work Scheduler will be responsible for allocating all work streams to the teams, taking into consideration location, capabilities, maximum productivity as well as customer and client needs. The candidate would be responsible of target scheduling to maximize productivity. 

In your role you will be responsible for:

• You are responsible for making sure customers are updated to confirm visits are taking place and at all times keeping customers fully updated on the progress of the job i.e. if we cannot make it or need to rearrange
• Allocation of jobs to teams through an In-House system
• Ensure all relevant information is correct to raise a notice to dig via the local highway is supplied to the Noticing Team for all Civils work where required
• All work is planned in line within SLA’s
• Review reports provided on a daily / weekly basis to ensure compliance is met for the planning of work
• Support other team members as and when required
• Ensure that defined processes are adhered to at all times
• Other duties may be undertaken as and when required and are subject to change in line with company requirements

• Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
• Ability to plan own time effectively with self-motivation and to work on own initiative, prioritising workloads.
• Able to demonstrate process driven outcomes.
• Able to demonstrate a strong customer service focus
• Strong interpersonal skills, ability to build effective working relationships
• Ability to work as a team member, promote team spirit and share ideas, also to be able to work alone
• Good organisation and time management skills
• The ability to work without supervision
• The ability to remain calm under pressure and maintain high standards at all times
