Domestic Solar Electrical Manager

GGRS Energie, part of the Kelly Group, is a rapidly growing domestic renewable energy contractor delivering domestic solar PV and battery storage installations across the UK.

Due to continued growth, we’re looking to recruit an experienced Domestic Solar Electrical Manager to take ownership of our domestic delivery programme, overseeing projects from survey through to commissioning and handover.

The Role:

This is a operational role responsible for delivering multiple domestic solar PV and battery storage projects simultaneously.

You’ll manage programmes from initial survey and design through procurement, planning, installation, commissioning and final handover, ensuring installations are delivered safely, on time, to the highest quality standards.

Working closely with our domestic survey/logistics and installation teams, you’ll become a key part of the business and help shape future delivery processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage full life cycle of monthly domestic Solar PV and battery installations
• Review domestic surveys, agree designs, layouts and system kit requirement for the domestic installations
• Provide technical oversight across solar PV, battery and EV charging systems
• Support teams onsite when needed with hands-on problem solving
• Collaborate with administration team to ensure post installation certifications and ensuring compliance with MCS standards
• Work alongside team to ensure efficient coordination of internal teams, sub-contractors and suppliers.
• Produce and review RAMS, for domestic installations
• Oversee the QA reports being completed and ensure learning and improvement across teams are implemented.
• Maintaining documentation, improving processes and collaborating on Health & Safety
• Drive continual improvement across the business.

Essential Requirements:

• Proven experience managing domestic solar PV contracts.
• Strong solar PV electrical background
• Experience with domestic inverters and battery storage.
• Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and SLDs.
• Good understanding of cable sizing, protection and distribution systems for domestic properties.
• Knowledge of G98/99 applications.
• Excellent planning and organisational skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to manage stakeholders
• Full UK Driving Licence.

• Level 3 Diploma in Electrical Installations (2365)
• Level 3 in Electrotechnical Services (2357)
• AM2 Practical Assessment
• ECS
• 18th Edition.
• Inspection & Testing (2391)
• OpenSolar experience
• Experience with Solar PV Electrical and Roofing works
