Commercial Solar PV Programme Manager

GGRS Energie, part of the Kelly Group, is a growing commercial renewable energy contractor delivering solar PV and battery storage installations across the UK. We're looking for an experienced Commercial Solar PV Programme Manager to take ownership of our commercial delivery programme, from design through to commissioning and handover.

This is a senior operational role running multiple commercial solar PV and battery storage projects at once. You'll take programmes from survey and design through procurement, installation, commissioning and handover - safely, on time, on budget and to a high standard. You'll work closely with our design, commercial and installation teams and help shape how we deliver as we grow

Key responsibilities:

• Manage multiple commercial solar PV and battery storage projects simultaneously
• Programme planning and resource allocation across installation teams
• Review technical designs, layouts, SLDs, cable calculations and protection coordination
• Review MPPT layouts, string designs and inverter configurations
• Liaise with DNOs, ICPs, clients and consultants, including G99/G100 applications
• Manage procurement and material schedules
• Produce and review RAMS, CPPs and construction documentation
• Coordinate subcontractors and internal installation teams
• Monitor programme costs, variations and commercial performance
• Ensure compliance with BS 7671, MCS, G99, G100 and current industry standards
• Carry out site visits, quality inspections and progress meetings
• Manage commissioning and client handover
• Drive continual improvement across the business

Essential Experience:

• Proven experience managing commercial solar PV projects
• Strong electrical background
• Experience with commercial inverters and battery storage
• Able to read and understand electrical drawings and SLDs
• Good understanding of cable sizing, protection and distribution
• Knowledge of G99/G100 applications
• Excellent planning, organisation and communication skills
• Full UK driving licence

Desirable Experience:

• HNC/HND or equivalent electrical qualification
• SMSTS or SSSTS
• IOSH or NEBOSH
• 18th Edition and Inspection & Testing
• AutoCAD, PVsyst or similar design software
• Experience with large-scale battery storage and commercial energy management systems
