Kelly Group is looking for enthusiastic and skilled individuals to join us as New to Field Coaches, supporting our engineers out in the field on the CityFibre contract.
As a New to Field Coach, you'll play a key role in leading and developing our team of installation technicians. Your focus will be on delivering high-quality work, exceeding customer expectations, and ensuring our engineers are equipped, trained, and motivated for success.
Your Role & Responsibilities:
Lead and support a team of communication installation technicians, providing first-line support in the field.
Ensure timely, professional completion of work that meets and exceeds client and customer expectations.
Drive performance and team motivation through coaching, mentoring, and development planning.
Identify and address technical training needs and implement ongoing improvement strategies.
Promote a high standard of field performance while aligning with quality, safety, and commercial targets.
Conduct regular inspections of company fleet, tools, and equipment, maintaining accurate records and ensuring all assets meet company policy and standards.
Perform regular field audits, deliver coaching sessions, and run weekly development briefings.
Ensure strict adherence to Health & Safety procedures, client SOPs, and Kelly Group policies.
Represent both Kelly Group and CityFibre professionally in every interaction, promoting a positive brand image and delivering exceptional customer service.
What We’re Looking For:
We’re seeking experienced leaders with strong field knowledge, an eye for detail, and a passion for helping others grow. To be successful in this role, you should have:
Previous fibre installation experience (highly beneficial).
Strong knowledge of network infrastructure or related disciplines.
Understanding of client SOPs and health & safety regulations.
Proven leadership or people management experience.
Excellent communication skills, approachable and professional at all levels.
A proactive and positive attitude, capable of driving performance and team motivation.
The ability to meet deadlines, achieve targets, and adapt to industry demands.
A full UK driving licence with at least 12 months’ driving experience.
A customer-first mindset with a drive to exceed expectations and deliver outstanding service.
