Safety Tips of The Month – Safe Driving During Winter
When driving your vehicle during winter, you need to consider different weather conditions. By adopting a slower driver behaviour style, you can increase your chances to avoid incidents. Driving slower and leaving twice as big of a gap between your vehicle and the one in front will allow a longer reaction time and keep you safe as braking distances are much longer on icy roads. Ice and snow can reduce your tyre grip on roads during winter. Try avoiding sudden inputs with the accelerator, brakes or steering as it can cause you to lose control over your vehicle.
Introducing Zane – This Month’s Winner
Zane started his journey with Kelly Group as one of our poling operatives on the ONSA poling project just over a year ago. His responsibilities include driving a PEU vehicle and operating the crane in a safe manner while erecting poles ensuring each job is completed to the highest standards.
