Kelly Group is pleased to have supported this year's Clean City Award Scheme, which promotes best practices in sustainability for City of London businesses.
The Clean City Award Scheme was established in 1994 to develop partnerships with a wide range of City businesses by raising awareness of responsible waste management. The scheme recognized and rewarded good practices at the time by encouraging businesses to "Reduce and Recycle".
As we continue to learn about the importance of sustainability and best practices, the award scheme has expanded to include a wider range of categories. It recognizes businesses and individuals who go above and beyond for a more sustainable environment, with a prestigious annual award ceremony held at the Lord Mayor of the City of London's residence, the historic Mansion House.
The 29th annual award ceremony was held on February 10th, 2023. This year's Clean City Awards focused on firms leading the way in the race to net zero. The awards also recognized sweepers and other workers who help keep the City's streets clean and gardeners who maintain the Square Mile's more than 200 green spaces.
Kelly Group is proud of the continuous work we have delivered within the City for more than 30 years while championing sustainability. Our Kelly Fleet department is dedicated to a more sustainable future and continuously seeks opportunities to capitalize on environmentally friendly solutions, such as the trial of EV vans.
