Encouraging our workforce to increase their active movements, our Group Wellbeing Department recently devised a fantastic initiative named The Virtual Walking Challenge.
This years challenge saw Kelly Group teams of 4 from throughout the UK virtually walk from Amarillo to Chicago across the USA’s Route 66.
11 teams recorded their steps each week and submitted results to a national league table, with each team member aiming for 5,000 steps per day, 7 days a week.
Following 7 weeks of virtual USA pavement-pounding spanning an incredible 1149.2 miles (collectively) we’re thrilled to announce team Road To Nowhere has taken 1st place in this years challenge.
A huge congratulations to Darren Yates, Mary Burke, Andrea Toca and Lamont Whitehorn on their achievement.
