What we do
We’ve a highly-trained workforce of circa 3500, 40 + national operational centres, 4 training hubs and a fleet of over 2500 vehicles.
After the global pandemic, more people than ever are facing hardship.
It’s time for a change.
Kelly Group was once again happy to support The Trussell Trust to aid those in need during the festive period and give back to the communities we serve. A reverse advent calendar was introduced to ensure a wide variety of donations were received by each collection point.
We were delighted to have foodbank collection points at 5 key depots nationwide: Glasgow, Nuneaton, Dunstable, Wembley and Brimsdown. A huge well done to our local representatives, Laura Eliot, Lauren Wickenden, Kelly Pritchard and Carol O’Shea for supporting the initiative and delivering goods to local foodbanks.
The response was fantastic as collectively our workforce donated a large number of boxes for food banks across the nation - deliveries of your generous donations have already made their way to local collection points.
What happens to your donations?
Foodbanks provide a minimum of 3 days of nutritionally balanced emergency food packs alongside additional support for families. All non-perishable and in-date food will be organised into emergency food parcels by more than 28,000 volunteers who will send these packs to families in crisis.
Christmas is supposed to be a time for joy and celebration – but for too many people it’s becoming increasingly difficult, with more people than ever expected to need to use a food bank during the festive period. Your generous donations will make a difference for many families during the festive period. A big thank you to everyone who went out of their way to buy items to donate.
