How long have you been working for the Kelly Group and what positions have you held throughout your tenure?
I started my journey with Kelly Group about 3 years ago as a Contracting Service Desk Operative. Since then, I started to work on projects such as email security, server migration and wireless deployment.
What does a typical week look like?
It is difficult to describe a typical week because every day brings a new challenge. There are a couple of tasks I could be doing throughout a week, these include reviewing outstanding projects and developing an action plan to resolve and complete them. Occasionally, I visit our developing sites to review outstanding IT tasks that need action.
I work with Nav and his wider support team to ensure that any recurring technical issues are addressed, and any training documentation requirements are identified and implemented.
I am also responsible for strategic testing of new solutions before implementation and monitoring services to ensure efficient operation.
Do you have any set goals in mind for the next 12 months?
Professionally, I would like to complete a certification called Solutions Architect Professional which is one of the highest qualifications to achieve in Amazon Web Services.
I would like to travel to the Philippians as I am trying to visit all the countries in South East Asia. The last two countries I have left on my list are the Philippines and Myanmar. I love travelling and due to the COVID pandemic, I haven’t been able to travel much, however since the restrictions were lifted, I try to visit 3-4 countries each year.

Before working for Kelly Group, what was the most unusual or interesting job you have ever had?
I’ve had quite a few positions throughout my career. Initially, I was a Department Supervisor for a gaming company. I also worked as a Senior Support Engineer, Technical Support Manager, Critical Support Manager, then a Cloud Solutions Consultant and then, I started a company providing IT support services to small and medium-sized enterprises.
If you could switch your job with anyone else for one week, whose job would you want to experience?
I would like to experience my wife’s job, she’s a Biomedical Scientist working at St Thomas Hospital.
What advice do you have for new Kelly Group employees coming into the business?
Be proactive, share your knowledge and provide permanent solutions.

What is your proudest moment?
When my daughter was born, I held her for the first time. It changed the way I perceived life and made me realise my real purpose.
