Following an extremely successful Movember fundraising campaign in 2021, our Kelly Group workforce joined forces for the second time in support of the 2022 Movember movement. Movember is the world’s leading charity fighting to stop men from dying too young. Mental health and suicide prevention, prostate and testicular cancer – they’re taking them all on…
With many of your favourite activities, alongside a wide range of new events, we saw phenomenal fundraising efforts from 100s of our Kelly Group family, up and down the country. As we saw this year’s fundraising activities coming to an end, we are immensely proud to share, that our nationwide workforce has raised an amazing £16,878.41 in support of Movember’s mission.
Kelly Group has recognised the drive and dedication of our 16 Movember Workplace Ambassadors and the extraordinary nationwide fundraising efforts of our workforce. Live on stage, at our 2022 Christmas celebrations held at the Hilton Hotel Wembley, Tim Kelly (Kelly Group Chairman) announced the Group would double every pound raised during our 2022 fundraising campaign. This extremely generous donation from Kelly Group brings our grand total to an incredible £33,756.82. A huge thank you to the Group for supporting our men’s health 2022 charity project.
Watch our Kelly Group X Movember 2022 campaign wrap-up video featuring a wide selection of your epic fundraising challenges, including the Essex Season Ender Bike Ride, The Big Hike, bake sales, pumpkin carving, Mark Lowton’s parachute jump, body combat class, static bike challenge and our campaign finale 5-a-side charity football tournament.

On Wednesday 2nd November 2022, we took some time out to welcome our Movember Corporate Partnerships Manager, Daisy Downing, who hosted a virtual men’s health talk for the business.
Daisy delivered an informative talk covering areas including the charity’s history and why they exist, background on their three causes and how they are taking action when it comes to facing Prostate cancer, Testicular cancer, Mental Health and Suicide Prevention head on, and how our support will have an impact on men’s health globally.
This was a fantastic interactive session where participants had the opportunity to ask questions or share personal experiences on the above subject matters.
This virtual event was available for the Group’s workforce to join individually from their devices, or as a group from pre-booked locations with our Kelly Group Movember Workplace Ambassadors.
Daisy has introduced us to a wide range of resources funded by generous donations over the years, which are all available for FREE via the official Movember website. The official Movember site also features a dedicated Suicide Prevention page where you can find out how you can Get Support and Give Support.
On Sunday, 27th November, Mark Lowton (HR & HSQE Director) challenged himself to complete a parachute jump supporting our Movember fundraising campaign.

“Our Nuneaton Workplace Ambassadors did an amazing job organising a wide variety of fundraising activities throughout Movember. Their dedication and our colleagues’ support inspired my fundraising idea. I did a parachute jump in memory of my beloved dog Wilf, whom we sadly lost this year and in aid of Movember and raising awareness of Men's health, in particular suicide prevention having struggled with mental health myself. Talking about mental health will help us all to understand the challenges we all face in life and that it’s more than okay to be open and get help. Thank you to everyone for their generous support.”
Our highly anticipated 2022 Kelly Group 5-a-side Movember Football Tournament took place on Friday, 9th December at Powerleague, Mill Hill, London. With 10 teams travelling nationwide, we had 70+ players including office staff, directors, field engineers and managers, all eager to be crowned our next Kelly Group Champions at kick-off.
On the day of the event, teams were divided into two divisions across multiple pitches with appointed professional referees ensuring all matches were played fairly and safely.
With 12+ hours of collective match play and a few minor injuries, we’re delighted to announce that our 2022 Kelly Group 5-a-side Movember Football Tournament Champions are Kelly Tekkerz. A huge congratulations to our champions!

“Being a part of the Movember movement as a workplace ambassador was a great way to end my first year at Kelly Group. I signed up to become a workplace ambassador because I wanted to be involved in raising funds and awareness for such an important cause.
I think there are still many people who don’t understand what Movember is about – it’s not about growing funny moustaches. To me, Movember is about us going above and beyond through difficult challenges while spreading awareness of mental health, suicide prevention, prostate and testicular cancer and the free tools funded by Movember which address all these men’s health issues.
I had a fantastic time taking on difficult challenges, such as taking part in the Essex Season Ender Cycle event in the middle of a storm, challenging myself to complete the 42-mile course; or kicking the ball alongside friends at our 5-a-side football tournament.
Thank you to Kinga, Chris and Neil for encouraging and helping me to become an ambassador. I also would like to say thank you to everyone who has supported my challenges with donations over the course of the month.
A big shout out to Stives Davis, Zak Wilson, Kyle Howard and Adam Mabrok for being part of Kelly Tekkerz and fighting through the tournament, ensuring we were crowned 2022 champions!
A big shoutout goes to our runners-up football team from our Virgin Media contract, Mo’ Day Blues.
Kelly Group is proud to be a Movember supporter. We’re very much looking forward to helping the movement in the future, enabling the charity to succeed with their mission in helping men live healthier, happier, and longer lives.
