Last week the Internet Services Providers’ Association (ISPA UK) hosted their 22nd Annual UK Internet Industry Awards with a highly entertaining virtual event including live music, stand up compere and even a cocktail masterclass – perfect for a Wednesday afternoon !
We were thrilled with the ISPAs decision to recognise the internet industry by awarding the whole sector the highly coveted - Internet Hero Award.
“The value of the UK ISP sector was for all to see at the 22nd ISPA Awards because the entire event took place virtually. Without ISPs, there could be no ceremony this year!
A big congratulations are in order for this year’s winners. 2020 has been a year like no other, but it has also been a year where ISP employees were seen as key workers, broadband has underpinned the entire economy to keep businesses operating and we were all able to keep in touch with loved ones through the pandemic. This is why the internet industry was awarded the Internet Hero award this year. The internet industry has kept Britain Connected, and these winners deserve special recognition for their awards tonight.” ISPA Chair – Andrew Glover

As a telecommunication services business with designated key worker status, we’ve acted swiftly to implement measures ensuring we continue to deliver for our partners and the customers that they serve. Thus on behalf of the full Kelly Group workforce we thank the ISPA for this fantastic recognition.
