Tim moved from Frosses in Co Donegal, Ireland to London in 1972 and worked in the catering & construction industries for several years. At the age of 21 Tim setup a minicab business in North London.

In the early 80's Tim returned to Ireland where he worked and gained experience in the Communications industry in Dublin & Cork for two years.

Tim returned to the UK in 1985 where he setup a communications company called Cabtel, and this was awarded its first major contract by Croydon Cable which included the very first cable television customer installation, which took place on 17th September 1985. This eventually led to the formation of Kelly Brothers Communications in 1986.

Kelly Communications Ltd was formed in 1988 and for the past 22 years has grown into a diverse communications company known as Kelly Group Ltd which continues to grow and operate successfully today.

Tim resides in Hertfordshire with his wife and son and enjoys golfing, boating and travel. Tim is also an ardent supporter and organiser of charitable causes / events such as British Cardiac Research Golf Day, Crumlin Golf Classic, Crimestoppers, Rehab UK and many more.
