Deputy Finance Director

Jimmy joined the Kelly Group in March 2004 as a Group Financial Controller. His previous experience was in publishing where he spent nearly 15 years working for the Iliffe Publishing Group, where he had been Finance Director for both Herts & Essex Newspapers Ltd and then the Cambridge Evening News, before joining the BMA to become Financial Controller for the British Medical Journal.

Since joining Kellys, Jimmy has introduced new accounting, budgeting, HR and Wages systems in the ongoing drive to improve the Group's reporting and decision making capabilities.

Jimmy has been with his partner for 18 years and they have one son. He has recently retired from playing rugby for Old Actonians RFC where he has held the positions of Chairman and Treasurer at various times over the 24 years he has been a member. He is now very keen to improve his golf handicap which remains frustratingly high at 19!
