Dermot Coughlan

Operations Director

Dermot joined the Kelly Group in 1991 as a Fleet Administrator, having studied Transport and Logistics in Dublin, and worked his way up to the position of Operations Director of Kelly Communications Plant Ltd in April 2009. During his time the fleet has grown from 90 to 1300 vehicles and the company has taken over responsibility for the Group's plant, both hired and owned. Dermot's current role involves developing the Group's Environmental Fleet Policy and maintaining the cost effective solutions to risks involved in running so large a fleet.

Dermot is married with three children. He plays rugby for Hitchin RFC and is Vice Chairman for the Board of Governors for the Roecroft Lower School.
